The FIBO Finance domain pack teaches BASAL the vocabulary of the financial industry. Based on the EDM Council's Financial Industry Business Ontology (FIBO), it defines entity types for instruments, legal entities, contracts, and regulatory concepts.
Once installed, every financial document that flows through the extraction pipeline benefits from precise entity typing and relationship classification, turning generic "Organization" entities into typed "Investment Fund", "Clearing House", or "Regulatory Authority" entities.
